Biography
Violet Cooper is a student actor and emerging filmmaker with three years of theatrical experience in both performance and collaborative stage work. She began her theatre journey in A Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, and has since developed a strong presences in her high schools productions. Her most notable roles include Shelby in the student directed production of John Proctor Is The Villain by Kimberly Belflower, as well as Rika (Geoffrey) in Six Degrees of Separation, a gender swapped adaption that challenged her range and approach to character work. These experiences helped shaped her as a performer and artist. Violet trained for three years (2020-2023) at The Playground Acting, where she developed foundational skills in acting technique, scene work, and character development. She continues to build her craft through both stage and film work, balancing interests in performance and production. Alongside acting, Violet is equally interested in film and behind the scene storytelling, with a particular focus on pursuing a future in music supervision. She is drawn to the emotional impact of storytelling across mediums and continues to explore both acting and film as creative paths.
